Queen of Murder Goes Online
Joy Swift, the original creator of Murder Mystery Weekends is launching another world first on Friday 5th November, the real-action online interactive game, Murder Mystery Investigations. No longer will sleuths be limited to watching a murder mystery unfold on television or on film, now from the comfort of their own home, they can truly become sleuths by following all the action and tussling with the clues as though they were part of a real police investigation.
Joy, 54, from Liverpool, was the first person in the world to come up with the Murder Mystery Weekend Concept back in 1981. Joy has written over 100 complex plots and original storylines, and her Murder Weekends are always fully booked because of the intrigue, fun and laughter that she has provided for her guests over the past 30 years.
This weekend, there will be some unexploded fireworks on the internet, when Joy Swift’s plot “A Taste of Murder” launches on Bonfire Night and is free to play. With 5 chapters, 4 victims, 6 suspects, 16 live-action videos and 73 pieces of evidence, Joy brings another of her fantastic plots to life to give the player a rollicking realistic investigation which will keep them sleuthing until the very last minute.
When asked about the launch of her latest venture, Joy said “I’ve very excited that I am now able to bring my very realistic, intricate but solvable plots to the internet. It’s the first time live action will be brought to online Murder Mysteries games, so the players will be able to grapple with completely realistic evidence and murders!”
