Nintendo announces new Nintendo DS and Wii line up for spring 2008
24th April 2008. As spring bounds in and summer edges closer, a range of new titles make their way on to the Nintendo DS and Wii. With some familiar faces, as well as brand new experiences on both consoles, there will be something for everyone to enjoy over the coming months
From fitness to finding the ultimate brawler, an exciting line up of titles is heading to the Wii over the next few months! 25th April will see the much-anticipated European launch of Wii Fit arrive on Wii, bundled with the pressure sensitive Wii Balance Board. This new dimension to Wii will bring a fun way to help the user and their family exercise in the comfort of their own home. Fans favourite, Mario, will also be found brawling with numerous heroes from Nintendo and third party titles in the eagerly anticipated Super Smash Bros. Brawl!
May will see the introduction of two new exciting elements to the Wii Channels. WiiWare will storm onto the Wii Shop Channel offering brand new first and third party titles to download directly to the Wii from 500 Wii Points. Nintendo Channel will also be arriving at the end of May, keeping everyone up-to-date on all the latest information for past, present and future games on all Nintendo platforms.
For the Nintendo DS, a new companion for the kitchen will be making its debut as Cooking Guide: Can’t Decide What to Eat? arrives in Europe. Providing numerous mouth watering recipes, step-by-step guides to preparing dishes from all around the world, this title is guaranteed to parallel your taste buds into food heaven! A new face in the world of justice will also take centre stage as Ace Attorney: Apollo Justice launches. Solving mysteries and heading back to the courtroom to nail the criminal, Apollo Justice will have puzzle fans searching out all the essential clues! In July, Pokémon fans will be in for a treat as they get ready to be transformed into a Pokémon and battle through dungeons with the arrival of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness on the Nintendo DS.
