"Many of our customers are PC enthusiasts seeking to keep up-to-date with the newest technology. Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO. "That's why we decided to offer free AM2 Upgrade-Kits for our coolers."

Originally designed for Socket 478, LGA & K8 (754, 939, 940), the NH-U12 and NH-U9 coolers are now fully AM2 compatible thanks to the AM2 Upgrade Kit. In order to install the coolers on AMDs new socket, both the parts supplied with the kit and several parts supplied with the cooler are required.
