PNY Announces XLR8 Fully Assembled Liquid Cooling

LAS VEGAS – January 7, 2008 – PNY Technologies®, Inc. today announced at CES 2008 its XLR8® Chilled Edition high-end graphics cards, equipped with a fully assembled liquid cooling system. Designed to easily install in the majority of standard computer cases, gamers benefit from a complete out-of-the-box system and save money without having to purchase additional components that require complicated assembly. Co-developed by CoolIT and PNY, the XLR8 Chilled Edition graphics card system features CoolIt's Dual Drive Bay VGA Cooler mated with PNY's new XLR8 graphics cards.

PNY's XLR8 Chilled Edition features a "Rad Box” (Radiator Box) that houses the fans, radiator and pump in a metal box that fits into two drive bay slots on the front of a standard PC case. The radiator is visible from the outside of the PC when installed. From the radiator, a tube connects to a cooling block that mounts to the chosen graphics card in place of the usual fan that comes equipped on the graphics card.
PNY's XLR8 Chilled Edition graphics card systems will be available for purchase by end of Q1 2008 from major retailers and e-tailers for an MSRP starting at $599 and up depending on the GPU model and single, 2-way, or 3-way configuration.
