Performance notebook manufacturer rock is excited to announce they will be first in the UK to ship notebooks with Intel’s Core Duo T2700 CPU fitted from just £1499 ex vat. Xtreme CTX featuring the new processor are in production today and all back orders will ship within 2 days.

Not only is the Xtreme CTX now available with the world’s fastest mobile processor but the video card has also been boosted to 512MB without any price increase. NVIDIA’s GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512MB is the most powerful mobile graphics chip available to buy and will power through the latest games at speeds that would put most desktops to shame. This powerful combination of Intel processor and NVIDIA graphics make rock’s Xtreme CTX the choice for demanding applications and games on the move.

Naturally, it also comes with rock’s standard insurance backed 3 year Collect and Return warranty and lifetime telephone technical support.

Commenting on the news, Nick Boardman, CEO, said “This new release puts rock ahead of the pack once again. We are delighted to be first to ship notebooks with this great new dual core processor. Customers will notice an incredible difference in performance making it perfect for power hungry applications and games.”

Every rock notebook is built to order and a range of upgrades are available online. For an extra £49 ex vat, customers can upgrade to a WUXGA 1920x1200 X-Glass screen. X-Glass technology gives a wider viewing angle, improved colour and brilliance for a better visual experience.
