The trend in monitors goes to larger and larger resolutions and screen diagonals of 61 cm to 68.6 cm (24″ to 27″). However, the 49.5 cm (19.5″) segment still accounts for a considerable amount of sales throughout Europe. With not less than six competitive new models, display specialist AOC gets off to a good start in this segment. Originating from the thriving product lines 50, 60 and 70, these classy all-rounders underline the company’s clear commitment to home and office users.

New product segment
Adding this new range of LED-backlit displays to their extensive portfolio, AOC sets out to shake up the market in the 49.5 cm (19.5”) segment. Although only slightly smaller than the widespread 50.8 cm (20″) versions, the new models will be available at noticeably lower prices.

All-rounders for home and office
The LED-backlit monitors are designed for standard applications such as working on texts and tables, surfing the internet or watching web videos. With the WSXGA resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels, these stylish displays easily outgun the WXGA (1366 x 768) panels often utilised in similar product segments. With 37 % more pixels, users will benefit from more graphic detail, brillant images and videos. Thanks to the WSXGA resolution and proportionally more space for their application windows, working on these monitors is much more convenient.

Efficient LED technology
All new 19.5 inchers boast energy-efficient TN panels and the latest LED backlights. These monitors allow for considerable savings in energy consumption, reducing the total cost of ownership as well as environmental impact. The 50 and 60ID models deliver a luminosity of 250 cd/m² (a 70ID model will offer 200 cd/m²), a typical contrast of 1,000:1 (dynamic: 20,000,000:1) and a response time of 5 ms only for crisp and clear images. Some models offer an optional DVI port, integrated speakers and ergonomic features as well.

AOC offers its latest models as of now in different equipment variants.
