Latest Products displayed in Hall 14/15, Booth F44

In its 25th anniversary year, Antec, Inc., the global leader in high-performance computer components and accessories for the gaming, PC upgrade and Do-It-Yourself markets, presents the latest product innovations at this year’s CeBIT Trade Show from 1st til 5th March 2011 in Hanover, Germany. The Antec booth F44 is located in hall 14/15. Among Antec’s show highlights are the latest enclosures of the Sonata- and Gaming series, the innovative CPU water cooling solution KÜHLER H2O 620, the High Current Gamer and High Current Pro PSU lines as well as the 3D 2.1 loudspeaker system rockus by soundscience, Antec’s new brand of audio products.

The High Current Pro series uses a one-of-a-kind high-performance full-bridge topology for a higher DC-to-DC voltage regulator module working frequency that stabilizes output voltage, making the system more reliable and energy-efficient, and features none of the annoying pitch noise typically found in higher-power 80 PLUS® Gold certified PSUs. The HCP-750, HCP-850, HCP-1000 and HCP-1200 with 750 watts, 850 watts, 1000 watts and 1200 watts of Continuous Power, respectively, all achieve the 80 PLUS® Gold certification level, delivering power with up to 92% efficiency – a rare distinction in energy efficiency, based on the 80 PLUS® Gold standard, attained by very few other power supplies. In addition, each model outputs its rated power at temperatures even up to 50° C. Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC) on all models, with a power factor above 0.9 helps to reduce electrical waste and further increases efficiency.

The High Current Gamer series is designed to optimize high-output current delivery while reducing wiring loss, resulting in unsurpassable value and reliability in a package that provides affordability and accessibility to gamers and power users working within varying budgets. Every model in the High Current Gamer series features over current protected +12V rails with High Current functionality, allowing them to deliver high power while minimizing power loss to wiring resistance. All High Current Gamer power supplies achieve the 80 PLUS® Bronze certification level, delivering their rated Continuous Power with a minimum of 82% efficiency at typical loads. Active Power Factor Correction (Active PFC) on all models, with a power factor above 0.9 helps to reduce electrical waste and further increases efficiency. The series features two top-end models: the HCG-750 and HCG-900, each delivering 750 and 900-watts of Continuous Power, respectively. The series is rounded out with three additional models: HCG-620, HCG-520 and HCG-400, each outputting its own rated 620, 520 and 400-watts of Continuous Power.

Working in tandem with Asetek (www.asetek.com,) the industry-leading supplier of OEM liquid cooling systems for computers, Antec has developed an easy-to-install liquid CPU cooling solution that outperforms stock CPU coolers up to 20 percent under full load. The Antec KÜHLER H2O 620 is crafted to bring sealed liquid CPU cooling to mainstream PC hardware and gaming enthusiasts world-wide – all delivering a Quiet Computing™ experience that requires zero maintenance, and that’s built to OEM standards for reliability. The KÜHLER H2O 620 features Asetek’s low-profile pump for exceptional liquid circulation while preserving internal airflow, and easy-bend tubes for maximum flexibility in radiator positioning. Additionally, the KÜHLER H2O 620 utilizes liquid temperature controlled fans to deliver Antec’s renowned Quiet Computing™ technology for quiet, efficient performance and uses the latest generation copper cold plate for optimal conduction.

Re-designed from the ground-up, the Sonata IV builds on the Sonata legacy of Quiet Computing™ by combining the features and performance that enthusiasts demand with the highest standard of build quality. The Sonata IV is crafted to accommodate future component upgrades, with a USB 3.0 front panel port for faster data transmission and redesigned front bezel intake to maximize natural case airflow. This enclosure is also the first Sonata model to include an 80 PLUS® certified 620-watt power supply with whisper-quiet 120 mm double ball bearing low-noise fan, giving users a near-silent, functional solution for the home, office or corporate workspace. The Sonata IV features one rear 120 mm TriCool™ 3-speed switch control exhaust fan for flexible control of fan speeds to balance cooling and quiet performance, and a built-in washable air filter for quick and easy cleaning. With eight drive bays (three external 5.25” drive bays, four internal 3.5” drive bays, and one internal 2.5” drive bay,) that utilize a hard drive bay rail system with vibration-absorbing silicone grommets, the Sonata IV boasts flexibility for a wide-range of builds and assures quiet performance.
