Dremel launches 2014 as 'Year of Versatility'


Dremel has designated 2014 as the 'Year of Versatility' launching it with a generous promotion to win a set of premium Dremel tools worth around £584 / 700 euros every month.

Kicking off at the start of February, Dremel is launching its Versatile Tool Pack promotion to demonstrate Dremel's versatility aimed at people who enjoy undertaking home and garden DIY, construction, repair and restoration work.

The prize includes:
  • a Dremel DSM20 compact saw,
  • a Dremel 8200 cordless rotary tool,
  • a Dremel 4200 corded rotary tool,
  • a Dremel Multi-Max MM40 oscillating tool,
  • a Dremel 940 Glue Gun
  • a Dremel Versaflame butane gas burner


Plus, a wide range of accessories and attachments which increases the versatility of the tools.

Winners will be able to undertake tasks, such as: cutting copper pipes to size quickly and then soldering them together; sanding down old wooden stairs and window frames; precision work on edges and corners; milling recesses for electrical sockets; restoration of rusty garden furniture with flaking paint; gluing skirting boards into place or adding decorative features.

It's easy to enter – entrants simply finish the slogan 'Dremel is Versatile because…' online via www.dremeleurope/vts. Alternatively in-store, people can use their smart phones to scan a QR code found on Dremel's packaging and leaflets. This will then direct them to the Promotion's website where they can complete the slogan.

At the end of each month, one winner will be selected*.

The promotion launches on 1 February and runs until 31 July 2014. Winners will be notified by Dremel via email.
