Globally renowned graphics card and mainboard manufacturer, MSI, today officially announces the N460GTX Cyclone Series graphics cards, including the N460GTX Cyclone 768D5/OC and N460GTX Cyclone 1GD5. The cards are powered by the latest NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 GPU and comes with top Military Class Components and the exclusive Cyclone thermal design with a 9cm PWM fan. The cards come with GPU overvoltage support through MSI’s exclusive overclocking software Afterburner to boost performance by up to 30%. In addition the card generates 15.7% less noise than the reference cooler at full speed to create a quiet environment for end-users.
Exclusive Cyclone Thermal Design: Extra Airflow with Low Noise
MSI N460GTX Cyclone Series is equipped with the exclusive Cyclone thermal design. After sinking the heat from the GPU with the nickel-plated copper base, two heat pipes evenly transfer the heat to the fins. Through a large 9cm PWM fan the huge airflow dissipates the heat very quickly. Aside from effectively reducing the GPU temperature compared to the reference cooler, the Cyclone thermal design can reduce noise by up to 15.7%. MSI Overclocking Utilities: Afterburner & Kombustor
Utilizing MSI’s exclusive Afterburner overclockingsoftware, users are able to adjust the fan speed as well as tune the voltage of the GPU to completely unleash its power to significantly enhance the overclocking capability by up to 30%.
