New VIA graphics card series delivers DX10.1 graphics and multiple HD 1080p content streams; embedded industry’s first dedicated graphics solution

The new VIA eH1 graphics card will take top billing at DSE 2011, bringing multiple HD content streams, support for DirectX 10.1, OpenGL 3.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0 and the latest Stereoscopic 3D technologies to digital signage markets. VIA will also present forthcoming dedicated graphics solutions that power up to eight displays simultaneously.

The VIA eH1 is a low profile PCI Express add-in-board designed for next generation embedded applications in a range of segments including digital signage and advertising, POS, POI, casino gaming or any embedded application where sophisticated graphics and HD video spans across more than one display. The VIA eH1 features the S3 Chrome 5400E GPU, the industry’s most power-efficient 64-bit discrete graphics solution.
