Brea, California and Munich, Germany – January 7, 2010
On January 12th, we all know now that a series of earthquakes measuring around 7.0 on the Richter scale devastated all of Haiti. It's in times like these, when people need help the most, that we all must raise to the moment.
Our community is very giving, we see this on a daily basis as people come looking for help and find it readily. We are asking you to help us give to the Red Cross' Haiti Relief and Development fund to support emergency relief and recovery efforts in Haiti.
We at EVGA are answering the call of help the people of Haiti have sent.
Starting today, we have a fund started through the Red Cross in our community's name. EVGA has promised to match community's donation up to $5,000, but we hope our community surpasses even that number. Your donation will directly help the rapid response of the emergency efforts that are going on now, as well as efforts to help those affected by the quakes in the long-term.
The more we can help, the more people will survive this trying time. If you are unable to donate monetarily, donate some of your time by finding a local organization that needs help organizing or packing supplies.
Thank you for any help you can give, and we're sure the people of Haiti will thank anything you can provide.
