Stunning graphics for high performance and immersive gameplay:

The G60 is the world’s first 16” display notebook with NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX graphics, allowing a performance up to 50% faster than previous G Series models. Gamers will experience a heightened virtual experience, even for games with a high frame-per-second rate.

Until now, this technology has only been viable on 17” notebooks due to thermal and placement difficulties, but continued dedication and innovation by the ASUS design team has allowed circumvention of those issues, again putting ASUS at the forefront of cutting-edge design.

When the going gets tough and gameplay is especially demanding on resources, gamers can opt for an instant performance boost – by selecting the ‘Extreme Turbo’ profile - in order to accelerate their processor and graphics using the notebooks built-in overclocking abilities.

Even though ASUS have packed such a massive punch into a smaller chassis, there has been no compromise on performance - with 1GB of GDDR2 video memory (30% faster than DDR2) the G60 has a 3DMark06® score of over 10,000*, a worthy difference from traditional 16” notebooks (which typically score between 2,000-3,000*).

The G60 notebook also boasts NVIDIA® PhysX™ technology, infusing graphics with real-world physics for mind-blowing realism.

World’s first notebook with EAX audio for true-to-life sound:

Equipped with Altec Lansing speakers and Creative’s industry-defining EAX and CMSS technologies, the G60 is the world’s first notebook to support EAX Advanced HD 4.0 audio technology, enabling true-to-life 3D sound effects, enhancing in-game environments and scenarios. It also has a built in sound library of up to 64 additional sound effects, compatible with over 300 supported games in order to produce ultra-realistic spatial effects.

Combined with the powerful visual capabilities, the audio excellence of the G60 will take gamers to a whole new level of virtual reality.

Backlit keyboard for uninterrupted all-night gaming comfort:

The G60 features an illuminated ‘chiclet’ keyboard and instant gaming keys, which light up to provide a highly visible interface in dark conditions. Gamers with a G60 notebook can carry on playing through the night without missing a beat – whilst opponents struggle to find the right buttons before being wiped out of the tournament.

Futuristic, robot-inspired design for the complete package:

In traditional Republic of Gamer fashion, the G60 is styled with a striking and futuristic profile.

Robot-inspired lines, pure white glossy colours, metallic mechanical detail and a backlit keyboard combine into a seamless hi-tech chassis reminiscent of the sci-fi and manga icons that have left their mark on the modern game society worldwide.

Windows 7– take advantage of new features coming in October:

On October 22nd 2009, Windows 7 will hit the shelves and ASUS are offering free upgrades** to users purchasing the G60 and G71.

Biggest gaming experience with a tiny price tag:
