Wednesday 24th February, 2010: MSI, the manufacturer of notebooks, PCs and computer components, today announces the launch of an outstanding array of products at this year’s CeBIT: The world’s largest computer exhibition. Along with the eagerly anticipated IF design award winning U160 netbook and X-Slim X620 MSI will be unveiling a whole new series, showcasing superior multimedia capabilities designed in collaboration with one of the world’s leading audio manufacturers. The innovation also includes a line-up of conceptual products such as the hottest 3D notebooks and dual touch screen e-books.

Following the massive success of the world’s first 10” netbook at CES in 2008, MSI proudly announce the launch of the award winning MSI Wind U160 netbook. Weighing just 1kg the MSI Wind packs an enviable list of features into its extremely slim 1” frame whilst its Intel Atom N450 processor affords low consumption, low heat generation and ultra-economomical power usage whilst breaking the 15 hour battery life barrier; a landmark unamtched by any competition to date and another world first for MSI.
To meet consumer needs for mobile computing, MSI will also be releasing the advanced X-Slim X360 notebook computer. With the aesthetics of X-Slim, the X360 with Intel’s Arrandale platform and Intel Core i5 dual core ULV processor, utilizes Turbo Boost and Hyper-Threading technologies and carries Intel HM55 chipset to achieve optimum video/audio and system performance. Being light and slim, the iF Design Award-winning X620 uses a 15.6-inch LED screen, a built-in DVD drive and a discrete graphics card, powered by an 11-hour extended battery!
Also at CeBIT 2010; the MSI GT660, a notebook specifically designed to deliver audio clarity fitted with Intel Core i7 quad-core processor, not only has super efficiency but also perfectly conveys the impressiveness of G series through its exterior design. The front cover uses MSI’s Color Film Print technology to prevent scratching and wear. A pure-black with fire-red decorative cover lines shows the low-profile luxury of GT660 at first sight. In addition to its superb exterior, the GT660 possesses incredible pristine sound quality. MSI has been working together with a famous world-class Hi-Fi manufacturer to deliver the peak in notebook audio clarity.
Completing an impressive product portfolio MSI are due to unveil their first 3D notebook at Cebit 2010, featuring a 15.6” 120Hz 3D HD screen. The combination of GPU and 120Hz 3D panel simultaneously presents an average of 60 hz to each eye. Accompanied by nVIDIA® 3D Vision™ spectacles, virtual 3D images will connect reality and the virtual world together.
The new MSI F Series will also be unveiled at the show. Designed to be professional, slim and powerful, the FX400 and FX600 both support Nvidia’s recently announced Optimus technology for both great visual computing and enhanced power saving for extended battery life.
