Audio leader and electronics giant showcase the latest version of Dolby Mobile on LG smartphone
Barcelona, 15 February, 2010—At the 2010 GSMA Mobile World Congress, LG Electronics (LG), a global leader and technology innovator in mobile communications, and Dolby Laboratories, Inc. (NYSE: DLB) held the first public demonstration of 5.1 multichannel surround sound on a mobile phone using the latest version of Dolby® Mobile technology and an LG Android-based smartphone.

Dolby Mobile is an audio platform designed to deliver rich, vibrant audio and dramatically improve listening enjoyment. The latest version of Dolby Mobile now offers support for discrete 5.1-channel surround sound.
