London, 25th June 2009: Projector specialist Optoma has unveiled an exclusive preview of its all-new high definition (HD) home cinema projectors and provided a sneak-peek at its new 3D projectors at this year’s CEDIA show.

Optoma’s new home cinema projectors feature full HD 1080p models for breathtaking clarity and vibrant colours to deliver an unforgettable big-screen cinema experience at amazingly competitive prices. The Optoma HD20 offers a new industry-low price sub-£900, while the high specification ThemeScene HD86 offers supreme flexibility with full lens shift, 3 lens options and exceptional ANSI contrast.

The new HD projectors form part of Optoma’s ThemeScene home cinema range, which was launched with the availability of the ThemeScene HD82 in February this year, offering an incredible 20,000:1 contrast ratio (680:1 ANSI contrast for “real-world” performance), 1080p full HD and a 1.5 – 2.28:1 throw ratio to deliver a wide choice of screen sizes.

Also on show at CEDIA were Optoma’s new state-of-the-art 3D projectors, due to launch later this year, which will dazzle gamers and movie fans by delivering exhilarating 3D to the living room.

The Optoma HD82 projector is currently available from selected UK retailers and online stores, priced at £2999. The Optoma HD20 and ThemeScene HD86 projectors will be available from July and August 2009, priced at around £900 and £4499 respectively.
