Augsburg/Germany, June 16th 2009. The Fujitsu Technology Solutions Mini-ITX
Board is only 17 x 17 cm and has been designed for industrial applications,
kiosk systems such as Infoterminals, ticket-, banking- or game machines, as
well as for multi-media applications HTPC, or medical technology. Equipped
with an AMD M690E & SB 600 chipset for DDR2 800/667 SDRAM memory and a
mobile socket S1, it supports energy-saving AMD Mobile SempronTM processors
(8W) as well as AMD Mobile TurionTM 64 X2 Dual Core (max 35 W) processors.
An efficient ATI Radeon X1250 Graphics controller is also integrated into
the chipset. VGA, DVI and Dual Channel LVDS graphics outputs are all
supported. Additional features are:

- Temperature-dependent cooler controlling and monitoring via internal
- High Definition Audio
- 2 GigaBit LAN-Controller
- Trusted Platform Module (TPM 1.2)
- PCI- and PCI Express-Support
- 4x Serial ATA Interfaces
- 8 USB 2.0 Interfaces
- Compact Flash Card-Support
- Mini PCI Express Interface
- 2 Firewire 400 Interfaces

Power is supplied by either external 24-V-supply or an ATX-power supply
unit. The mainboard features an extended lifetime of up to 5 years, and has
been built for temperatures between 0 to 60° Celsius. This makes it perfect
for continuous operations (24/7) in industrial applications.

Another plus is the D2703-S Silent Fan Function. A microcontroller controls
and monitors all connected fans based on temperatures (processor and chip
set), and provides for silent and stable system operation without failures
due to overheating. Using the Silent Drives Function, hard drives and
optical drives can be switched into a quiet mode via BIOS settings, thus
considerably reducing the systems noise level. The Desk Update Feature
provides for simple, automatic driver installation. The BIOS Logo can also
be customised to the customer’s specific requirements. Also, thanks to a
resident BIOS Recovery Function, BIOS recovery is possible even if the
system BIOS fails.
