The new Wireless Concurrent Dual-band Router 300N X2 with Internal High Performance Antennas enables the user to create a wireless home network with two wireless frequencies: 2.4 and the less crowded 5 GHz band which is ideal for time sensitive applications such as streaming audio and High-definition video, gaming and VoIP without any interruptions.

Rotterdam (the Netherlands), July 2009 - Sitecom introduces the WL-328 Wireless Concurrent Dual-band Router 300N X2 from the Pure E-motion | X-series range which makes it possible to create a high-speed wireless home network with two frequencies: 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The full advantage that can be taken of this dual-band router is by using the less crowded 5 GHz frequency for time sensitive media applications such as streaming audio and High Definition videos, online gaming, downloading files and VoIP with maximum wireless speed and without any video or audio interference. The 2.4 GHz band can be used for email applications and to browse through the Internet.

With the WL-328 the user can count on optimal performance with speeds up to 300 Mbps on both wireless frequencies, since the device supports the latest wireless technology 802.11n draft 2.0. The dual-band router is equipped with two Internal High Performance Antennas on both access points to strengthen the range of the wireless network. The internal antennas reduce “dead spots” and guarantee expanded coverage at home or in the home office.

In order to provide a simple and user-friendly solution with which even inexperienced users can take full advantage of a secure wireless network, Sitecom’s Wireless Concurrent Dual-band Router is standard fully “out of the box” secured with WPA2. Furthermore the WL-328 is equipped with a WPS (WiFi Protected Setup) button; thanks to the WPS technology users can create a secure wireless connection with just the push of a button and without any complicated software installation. The device comes with an instruction manual with clear illustrations which is easy to understand and aimed at a wide target audience.

Besides the WL-328, Sitecom introduces the WL-329 Wireless Dual-band USB Adapter 300N X2 which, in combination with the Wireless Concurrent Dual-band Router, is the ideal solution for users who want to create a high-speed wireless home network with two wireless frequency levels. The WL-329 can transmit signals on the 2.4 GHz or less crowded 5 GHz frequency which offers optimal wireless performance for time sensitive traffic without any audio or video interference. In combination with a wireless “N” router the user can communicate at extremely high throughput speeds up to 300 Mbps and over far greater ranges. To provide maximum comfort the WL-329 is equipped with a cap holder to easily keep the adapter and cap together to avoid loss.

The WL-328 Wireless Concurrent Dual-band Router 300N X2 and the WL-328 Wireless Dual-band USB Adapter 300N X2 are available from July and are accompanied by Sitecom’s 10 year warranty.
