Friday 27th February, 2009 – Jessops, the UK’s leading photographic retailer is the first to market with the Canon IXUS 100 IS Black digital camera, the slimmest ever digital IXUS model with 12.1 megapixels, 3 x optical zoom and optical Image Stabilizer. This model will be sold both in-store and online immediately and is just one of the eight new cameras that Canon have just released and added to the Jessops portfolio of digital cameras, equipment and accessories.

The Canon IXUS 100 IS digital camera is a fantastic design with some great features; it is not only lightweight but is the slimmest Canon IXUS digital camera ever. It also offers a whopping 12.1 megapixel resolution, allowing you to capture and enlarge those fantastic shots that you have taken, using the face detection, self timer and auto red eye technology.

A metallic design the Canon IXUS 100 IS offers a choice between red, silver, black or blue. Plus you have the option to shoot movies in HD (1280 x 720 30fps) and playback through your HDMI connection on the big screen.
