New workgroup and business class scanners launched at consumer electronics tradeshow

TELFORD, 21st December, 2010 - Plustek Technology Inc., a manufacturer of consumer, prosumer, professional and office imaging devices (including portable scanners, sheetfed/flatbed scanners, wide-format scanners and IP surveillance equipment), will exhibit a full line of new products at the world-renowned Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas [Hilton Pavilion & Ballroom, #44017]. New scanners on display will include the SmartOffice PL2550, OpticBook 4800 and SmartOffice PN2040.

The SmartOffice PL2550 is built to scan documents in any application requiring frequent document and rigid card scanning with a 50-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), flatbed and 1500 page-per-day duty cycle.

The OpticBook 4800 is a touchscreen-based book and bound material scanning solution with a simple user interface that allows users to easily scan to USB flash drive, email, network folder, FTP, URL or printer.

The SmartOffice PN2040 is a 20 page-per-minute network attached document scanner with a 50-page ADF that can be easily shared with any number of PCs on an office or home network.

Other products on display will be the previously launched MobileOffice PS406U, OpticFilm 7600i Ai, MobileOffice AD450, MobileOffice S400 and MobileOffice S420 scanners, along with the NVR Slim240 Network Video Recorder.
