LONDON, UK — 13th May 2009 — Seagate is offering free downloads of exclusive short films with its FreeAgent Go portable hard drives. Each purchase of a FreeAgent® Go drive carrying the “Lights, Camera, Action” promotional sticker enables the purchaser to download a one-hour package of short films from a choice of five categories; Laughter, Love, Music, Award Winners and Animation. For this promotion, Seagate has teamed up with Future Shorts, the innovative short film label, to select cutting edge short films that will appeal to a wide range of tastes. Full details and entry terms - and an opportunity to preview some of the short films – can be found at www.seagateactive.com/film.

The “Lights, Camera, Action” promotion is clearly indicated in participating retail outlets and the offer runs until 30 September 2009. It is available in France, Germany, Italy and the UK, and the film packages on offer have been localised for each of these countries.

Seagate’s FreeAgent Go portable hard drives are the slimmest external drives available today and include all the advanced shock and vibration protection people have come to expect from Seagate. The FreeAgent Go product is the first external hard drive to offer a docking option, providing a practical way to move from the desk to the road, while leaving the hassle of fumbling with cables and locating USB ports to the history books. With up to 500GB of capacity, the FreeAgent Go drive bridges the gap between standard portable solutions and desktop solutions with enough storage to carry entire libraries of movies, pictures and music. And the FreeAgent Go drive comes with a five year limited warranty.
