“We’ll be unveiling a brand new product at CES 2011 and you could be one of the very first to get your hands on it simply by correctly guessing what it is. That’s right, to be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is leave a comment below saying what you think the product is.” That’s what we said in the initial post about this contest. We also promised you another image – here it is:
Looking at some of the comments already made, it would appear that another clue may be in order – here it is: the device is not a Mac mini! We did think about making a Mac mini until we discovered that some other company had already beaten us to the punch. Doh! Oh well, you can’t win ‘em all!
To enter, all you need do is leave a comment to either this or the previous post saying what you think the device is. If you’ve already commented, your previous entry will stand but feel free to leave a new comment if you’ve changed your mind.
Finally, we received an anonymous telephone call from a person called Bieber who wanted to know whether the contest was open to miners. We thought this was an important point that warranted a revision to the previously posted rules.
RULES
1. Yes Justin, the contest is open to people who work underground.
2. The judge’s decision is final. No bellyaching or petulant whining is permitted.
3. The contest is open to real humans only: dogs, cats, fish and discarnate entities on the astral plane are excluded.
4. Should you not provide us with a mailing address within 14 days of us sending the notification you’ve won, we’ll give the prize to somebody else. If you think this is unfair, see rule #2.
5. Entries must be submitted by 2nd January 2011.
6. The winner will be randomly selected on 5th January 2011 and notified by email on that day.
Stay tuned as we may or may not publish another images prior to CES.
