Thermaltake’s Level 10 GT chassis and Toughpower grand PSU have both won a coveted “Red Dot Award: Product Design 2011” award and will take their place in the Red Dot design museums in Germany and Singapore, as of 5 July 2011.

Born 1955, the Red Dot awards recognise and honour the very best product designs and, in 2011, over 4,400 of the world’s most advanced products were considered for this internationally recognised mark of excellence and innovation.

“Thermaltake is very proud of this achievement”, said CEO Kenny Lin. “Our designers have a strong passion for this industry and they are courageous when it comes to design. Being recognised by Red Dot means that we have shown the perseverance necessary to carry our concepts through to a highly desirable product, that customers will want to own. This desire to achieve is part of our DNA”.

Lin said, “The Level 10 GT is a natural evolution of the work done by Thermaltake and BMW Design Works on the original Level 10 chassis. With the Toughpower Grand we innovated not only with the overall design, but specifically with the quality and layout of the internal components to produce a PSU that is up to 93% efficient”.

“Now we have expanded into our brand new design centre, our engineers will continue to push back the boundaries and continue to help evolve the perfect user experience”, said Lin.

Thermaltake’s Level 10 GT and Toughpower Grand products will be available in the UK
