Here is a dinky little scanner from Genius designed to be portable with your notebook. It has a 48bit hardware colour depth and a 600 dpi optical resolution. The package includes business card recognition and management functions.

This is a neat design and when you run out of things to scan you can use it as a harmonica.

GPS is becoming more and more popular and is set to become even more so with satellite navigation for smart phones becoming available. Such as this Tomtom Mobile 5 software.

Tomtom also had on display their new range of "GO" units. These are completely self contained satellite navigation devices designed to sit on the dashboard. The Go 700 for example contains the complete maps of Europe and can plan routes door to door seamlessly across borders. It is also Bluetooth enabled and remote controlled.

Tomtom Rider is a version for motorbikes.

"Sorry officer, I couldn't say how fast I was going. I can't see my speedo".

Navilock had large touchscreen GPs systems.

Plus smart phone versions. With a screen this small you really need the voice commands whilst driving!
