Final Assembly

With the legs now fitted, the rest of the blue corners were attached and the speaker grill finally put in place. In case you were wondering why the crazy legs?, well this unit will be displayed at trade shows and we wanted it to stand our (literally) and not be mistaken for just another amplifier.



A quick power up to check that all was OK. The red arrow indicates the circular VU meter in the PCI slot below the X-Fi card. The second picture is a close-up of it. You can see it in action in the videos at the end of this article.



All seemed well with the system, so a quick polish and it was taken outside for a photo session. You can see the internal, illuminated Sound Blaster logo in these pictures.
