Finishing Up

Each of the optical drive covers was hinged and attached to the case. A wire would attach to the bracket and the cover with home made hinges.



The hinges were made from an aluminium angle iron and a pop rivet rod.




Finally, for comparison, above is the finished article next to an original Cray-1. Hopefully bit-tech readers won't think I've done too badly.
