Part fabrication

Once the pieces arrived back from the laser cutter, the first thing I had to do was start bending them. I choose not to do this by myself, as it had to be done very accurately.

So I went to a local store, were they had high-tech bending machinery where they could calculate everything through a computer first and then proceed to bending.

I learned through my experience that when you give emphasis on details, the final outcome will reward you for your patience. A prime example is the fact that in order to get the chassis the way I wanted it, I had to rebuild it from scratch three times.

The main issue was making the case compact, but providing room for two dual 140mm-fan radiators and one triple 120mm-fan radiator. For the chassis frame, I used 15mm aluminium square tube along with aluminium corners and steel angle braces.

Then, on the main chassis frame, I attached the non-removable parts. The back, the top and bottom. So the chassis gained more durability and strength. The final step was the addition of the main chassis divider and the motherboard tray. The motherboard I/O back plate and expansion slots were taken from an old case I had.
