Mock-ups and motherboard trays

Apart from the outer box, the second most important part in the whole structure was a motherboard tray. I liked the idea of acrylic motherboard tray having seen Danger Den acrylic cases, so I have created my tray from 3mm red acrylic sheet. After I tested it by installing an actual motherboard on it with meaty graphic card, I noticed that 3mm is simply not enough as the whole tray bent quite considerably. I made another tray later by changing it to use the same 5mm black tinted acrylic I used elsewhere in the build. The extra thickness of new tray also helped to keep the whole structure firm as well like a cross-brace.
