Spray Painting
Most standard PC cases have a black interior, however the HAF932's is grey. This was something which I knew I had to do something about, so, after a bit of prep work on the individual sections, I pulled out the paint.
I tried the green paint I wanted to use on a scrap of metal, but it wasn't bright enough. Starting with a white primer and then moving onto a bright green really made the green pop out though, thankfully. I realised after spraying the green that I had covered a lot of my work area with paint. Tools, the floor and even parts of the bench all had a green tinge, thankfully it was dust so it was easily brushed off.
Having seen fans modded previously in other worklogs on the internet, I knew what I needed to do. I didn't want to mount LED's in the housing as I've seen so often, so I stripped the fans and then painted the blades.
I managed to not loose any of the tiny circlips (although I did have to hunt for one which pinged onto the floor). I was a little worried about unbalancing the fans with the paint as they are made so well, especially as I had only just bought them for the mod. Thankfully a few light coats of paint it didn't throw them out of whack and they are still as silent as before.
