The encasing of the structure was a great idea which subsequently permitted my HDD rack’s fixing. Once placed into the case the structure is very secure.
At this stage I had to integrate the LCD in its place. The LCD is fixed on a small acrylic piece which will protect it and will be useful to hold a black tinted film in order to make it invisible. This acrylic piece is 3 mm thick and will be screwed by the interior of the case.
Here are the holes which will receive two vandal switches for power and reset buttons. The small one for the hard drives blue led activity.
The double panels which will be useful has to hide all wiring, those will be painted in black by the interior to get mirror effect.
I recovered one Hard drive bracket from an old case: this one will be black painted and varnished to have a matt finish. It is fixed at three points on the first acrylic plate. I fixed it with rubber elastic bands to reduce vibrations and noise.
