Time to test the lights to see if they work. It gives the effect that I was hoping for, although at a LAN I may have to make sure it is not facing anyone (unless I plan to eliminate my opponents with blinding!)
The rear lights are all working and looking good!
Another fine detail was to tint all of the windows with a bronze mirror tint. Now, when the truck is not running you can't see the components inside.
Time to load Windows and test all the components to see if the whole assembly works. I had to make sure everything is running and make sure the temps were good.
This came as an after thought. I decided this needed not only have a wireless keyboard and mouse but a wireless network card as well.
Here we see it all set up. It fits no problem, so now I have a wireless network connection for my truck (Now if I could just figure out a way to get wireless power)!
By the end of the project, I had forgotten all about this! I had mounted a USB hub inside the truck. This will run both the wireless connection as well as the Crystalfontz LCD and have a place for the USB mouse to hook up. This is wired to the power supply via a five volt line so it is a powered hub.
In the back I had all this to cover up, somehow! I also needed something to mount the fan on to help exhaust some of the heat that the motherboard and other components created.
