Mod of the Month October 2013
As we close in on the end of the year and our bound-to-be epic Mod of the Year competition, it's time to take one last look at the in-progress projects in our forum. There's a massive mix of extremely in-depth projects this month and each one has the potential to be an all-time great. We've got cruiser mods, giant eye-candy filled servers, home-made water cooling components and some fantastic painting, metal work and woodwork on show too.
Make sure you check out our awesome modding community forums too. The
Modding forum is the place for tips, tricks, guides and planning your projects, while the
Project Logs forum is where the eye-candy is. Don't forget our main
Modding section, which is filled with guides and articles written by the makers of some of the best projects we've seen.
Also there's our
Case Mod Index and
Scratch Build Index. These are databases of hundreds of projects which allow you to see what has been done with particular case makes and models, or with specific materials or motherboard sizes. They're fantastic tools that can be helpful if you need some inspiration or want to see what other people have done.
We're proud to have the awesome
Mnpctech sponsoring Mod of the Month. The Mnpctech guys are regulars on our forums and, in addition to being avid modders themselves with some awesome projects to their names, the Mnpctech online store is also well worth a visit from every modder.
The winner of Mod of the Month will get
one of these awesome prizes from the Mnpctech store itself. There will be some new and exciting products from Mnpctech on the horizon too, but for now feast your eyes on these pieces of true PC bling.
"M3 Radiator Screw'd" fasteners have anodized rings to dress up radiator grills or match your custom PC accessories or liquid cooling components. They work with the following PC Radiator Manufacturers with M3 threads.
*Winner has choice of 3 sets of same color and size (12 total)
Mnpctech's Billet Aluminum 120mm PC Fan Grill. CNC milled from 3/16" thick 6061 aluminum.
Set of Mnpctech Billet Machined Diamond Knurl Case Feet. Mnpctech's "Grooved" Desktop Custom PC Case feet are CNC Machined from 6061 Aluminum. Diameter = 1-3/4" x Height = 7/8"
Thanks to Mnpctech for stumping up such fantastic prizes again this month. We've got six very promising projects for you again, so it's time to vote for your favourites. Don't forget that you can
vote for more than one project if you're finding it tough to choose one over the others. MOTM is a competition for in-progress projects. You should consider potential, originality, execution and show of skill when voting.
