Multi Hex by Archer
Project Log: Here
Multi Hex is one of the many scratch-builds on show this month, and forum user Archer is another new member who only joined our thriving modding forums this year.
Aluminium is normally the material of choice for projects such as this, but Archer instead chose mild steel to fabricate the various panels of the case, tapping any joins to make them ready to be screwed together.
True to the project's name, the hexagon-clad side panels look great. At this point we can also see the front panel, with much of the case now screwed together.
In the most recent updates, the case has received a number of new details. Most notable of these is a glossy black finish, with much of the hardware now installed too, along with a side-mounted fan controller.
