To Conclude ...
Well, that about wraps it up for Orac³ - Part 2. As I mentioned in the first article I did a lot of planning. However, there are always obstacles thrown up and all the planning in the world is not going to preclude test-fitting and having to come up with solutions on the hop. There is also an ever-growing list of small, niggly jobs, which will have to wait until the case is completely finished. I want to get the case finished asap in order to get some use out of my (rapidly aging) components and there are a few minor cosmetic jobs that aren't critical and would disproportionately hold up the construction. Later I plan to go back and fix the few things that I may not be happy with - who knows, I may decide I like them as they are?!
Modding a case where having to buy the components is essential in order to mod, measure and fit everything, seems to be a trade off between doing everything you
really want to do and getting the project finished within a reasonable amount of time. After all, the sooner you finish the project, the sooner you are up and using your creation!
Until then ...
... see you again for
Orac³ - Part 3!
