An Embarrassment of Parts
A
lot of parts went into the project. I only realised just how many when the case was nearly finished, and taken apart for final polishing. I guess the three or four hours it took to disassemble should have given me a clue! I gathered a few interesting images as a result.

More than a few cardboard models were made during the build. These all turned in to metal parts later.

More than 900 fasteners were required to hold it together.

In the left image are all the aluminium parts. The right-hand image, and below, show all the stainless steel parts.
