The maximum power limit and temperature limit of this card are 117 percent and 90°C respectively. With these set, we then pushed it as far as it could go.
To the core we were able to add 100MHz to the out-of-box speeds for new base and boost clocks of 1,644MHz and 1,757MHz respectively, although under load the card was boosting to a constant 2,000MHz right on the mark. This is obviously fast, but we have seen faster from numerous other GTX 1080 Ti cards, if only by 25-50MHz or so. MSI Afterburner does allow you to pump more voltage through the card, but in our situation this was of no use in getting speeds higher.
The memory hit an impressive 12.2Gbps, which is 11 percent more than the default speed of 11Gbps.
