Hiper 'Clavier' Aluminium Keyboard
Aluminium keyboards are
de rigeur for this coming season. Who would be seen dead at a LAN party without one? Forget the bulky, thick shapes of last year's keyboard collection - this Winter, slim is stylish.
Aluminium has been the chassis fabric of choice for a number of year now, being both lightweight and sturdy. The material has made its way to keyboards increasingly over the last year, and this, Hiper's take on the form factor, is one of the best yet.
A lot of the new range of smaller keyboards that we've seen have laptop-esque keys, and this one is no exception. However, the Hiper's keys actually feel far nicer than its competitors, and will leave you far happier after a marathon gaming session than keys on other slim-line pieces - and, indeed, on your own laptop. However, in terms of actual typing in Word on on the web, we still find 'normal' keyboards far more ergonomic.
It also has multimedia keys across the top of the board, and the LEDs for Caps Lock et al are a purple colour - which you will either love or hate.
The aluminium finish is pretty swish, although the inevitable silver plastic tops up on the keys - why can't these things be milled from aluminium too?!

Cost: Around £15
Verdict: If you want an aluminium keyboard that's portable and more ergonomic than most, you'll do well with this. Don't try and replace your standard keyboard with it, however.
HiperFlow UV fans
Check out these guys - they're fans, but with UV!
That's about it.
Seriously, they have average airflow and make an average amount of noise. They're thinner than your average 80mm fan, at 15mm, but that's about all that's different.

Cost: Around £5
Verdict: a) Do you need a UV fan? b) Do you have a UV cathode? IF b=Yes then a=Maybe ELSE probably not.
