Lost Planet doesn't scale as well as we'd like, even despite more cores, more cache and faster buses. Between the Q6600 and QX9770 you're only getting at most less than 10fps and at worst, 1-2fps. But, it is still the fastest (three times out of four) so you get what you pay for.
