For these tests, we used 2,133MHz memory, as it brings a healthy performance boost in games when using integrated graphics chips. Both the 1080p medium detail test and the 720p high detail test (see below) are too GPU-limited for Mantle to make any impact beyond a mere 2 percent. However, in the less demanding tests (1080p low, 720p medium/low), the gains become more noticeable, ranging from about 5 percent in most cases to 10 percent or just below in the least GPU-limited environments. As we're dealing with framerates between 30 and 60fps here, these improvements are more significant, and the benchmark does appear to run smoother with Mantle. However, we're under no illusions that the differences are anything game-changing.
