Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Xtreme Gaming Waterforce WB Overclocking
This card allows you to push the power limit all the way to 150 percent, which we did as well as adding 9°C to the temperature limit for good measure.
We were able to add 70MHz to the OC Mode speeds, giving us new base and boost clocks of 1,854MHz and 1,993MHz and an actual in-game boost speed of a staggering 2,150MHz completely stable.
The memory, meanwhile, refused to buckle until we pushed it beyond 1.5GHz, meaning we were able to run it stable at an effective speed of 12Gbps. We can't be certain that this is long-term stable, of course, and we'd be surprised if it was to be honest, but it certainly passed all of our retesting benchmarks without a hitch and is a fantastic result, a full 20 percent quicker than reference speeds.
