Our first step in overclocking this card was to set the power and temperature limits to their highest values: 120 percent and 92°C respectively. The already high frequencies curtailed efforts to run at much higher speeds.

In the end, we settled on an overclock of 60MHz extra on the core, giving us a base clock of 1,657MHz and a sustained, real-world boost clock of 2,008MHz.

The memory, meanwhile, was stable at 12Gbps, representing a solid nine percent overclock.
