Overclocking

The power limit of this card is locked to 100 percent. Power is typically a big limiter of the Turing architecture, so regardless of how good individual silicon is, this card is unlikely to ever be a big overclocker. Still, we gave it a go and set the temperature limit to 87°C (maximum) and put the voltage slider all the way to the right too for good measure.

Eventually we settled on a 75MHz overclock (four percent), which isn’t that bad considering the aforementioned power limit.

GDDR6 seems capable of running at pretty high speeds, and again the memory played nicely, settling at 15.8Gbps (~13 percent).

The results of our efforts in some benchmarks are shown below.
