Display Performance
There was noticeable backlight bleed in all four corners, especially at the bottom, which probably had something to do with the luminance uniformity varying by up to 25 percent at full brightness - much more than average. Thankfully, the IPS screen did cover 96 percent of the sRGB colour gamut - above average, and its brightness of 323.3cd/m
2 is decent and combined with the anti-glare, non-glossy screen, should be enough for outside viewing, even in sunlight.
Colour accuracy was actually very good, although contrast was a little low at 670:1 as reported by our Spyder5 Elite calibrator. The poor contrast and brightness uniformity undoubtedly lead to a fairly average score overall of 4/5, and the low score for the latter is bang on, although we can't read too much into the score as a whole given the contrast was not stellar and the software still scored 5/5. Overall, the colour accuracy, gamut and brightness are pretty decent here with brightness uniformity and contrast being a little disappointing.
