The memory performance is very good and there's only a slight difference between the read performance when using PCI-Express and IGP. The performance of the 790FX is still better in copy speed than the nForce 780a, and both are better than the Gigabyte 780G. In terms of memory latencies, the CrossHair II performs exceptionally well, cutting a good 10ns off the time of the AMD 780G board.

Sisoft Sandra tells much the same story - putting the AMD 790FX slightly ahead of the Nvidia 780a and putting it at a lower latency.
