The Biostar was slightly faster than the Intel D975XBX, but not by enough for there to be any worries.

Things changed dramatically in Quake 4. The TForce4 U 775 from Biostar was massively faster than the Intel 975X board - it was almost 13% faster in this CPU-limited scenario.

There was a 9% difference in performance between the two boards in favour of the Biostar in Half-Life 2: Lost Coast.
