Despite the large differences in performance between the Intel and AMD platforms, the situation changes somewhat when you become completely GPU limited.

Moving on to more realistic playable settings for a GeForce 7800 GT OC, the Biostar is two frames per second faster than the Intel 975X board, but is two frames per second slower than the two AMD motherboards.

The board seems to hold up well against the competition in Lost Coast. It's a mere 0.5 frames per second slower than the AMD-based DFI nF4 SLI-DR - that's not going to amount to anything in the real world.
