We managed to tune the board to exactly the same degree as the DS3R we looked at before and the raw memory performance of both are within a slither of each other. In fact, both Asus and Gigabyte can be tuned within a fraction of each other and the P45 benefits from a slightly better copy and write performance over P35.
Both Gigabyte EP45 boards can be tuned to perform the same as the Asus Maximus II Formula that we love, and they also undercut the P5Q Deluxe by a small margin as well.

Sisoft Sandra tells a slightly different story with the UD3R dropping down the table slightly dropping about 100MB/s to the DS3R, but it's still faster than the DQ6 by an appreciable degree. The latency is within a fraction of the DS3R and Maximus II Formula as well, beating the Gigabyte DQ6 and MSI's P45 and P35 boards.
