Remember here the Vadim is using a
single 8800 GTX versus the Commodore which was using two in SLI and in some cases the Vadim is faster than the Commodore XX.
We've particularly tested at high resolutions to mimic the environment that both machines are likely to be used in, and at 1600x1200 only in
Half-Life 2 yields a win for the Commodore. At 2560x1600, the Vadim is slower than the Commodore XX in
F.E.A.R. and
Quake 4, but not by the massive margin we were expecting. In all cases, the Vadim shifts enough pixels to the screen to satisfy even the most hardcore FPS loving gamers with a smooth frame rate.
