Intel NUC Case Competition August Update

Last month we announced the five winners of our Intel NUC competition. We asked you to come up with designs for a case for Intel's NUC (Next Unit of Computing) motherboards and Intel and bit-tech then picked five of the best designs. Each of the five shortlisted designers would receive an NUC hardware bundle with which to create their case.

There has been some fantastic work on show in our forum already, however regretfully, Jeffrey Stephenson (Slipperyskip) has had to pull out of the competition, which is a great shame given his modding pedigree. We've still got four projects to look forward to, though, and we've compiled a little round up of the latest progress.

Alex's part 3D-printed design really caught our eye in the line-up of over 40 designs and the main components, the wing-like side panels have just arrived following what is likely to have been plenty of behind the scenes discussions with a 3D printing firm.
