Bohemia Interactive has just released a new trailer for its forthcoming standalone expansion for Arma II; Operation Arrowhead.

Arma II was the critically acclimed milsim (military simulator) released last summer, pitting the might of the US Marines against a communist-inspired uprising in the fictional ex-Soviet republic of Chernarus.

Operation Arrowhead moves the action to the equally fictious country of Takistan, with the player taking the role of four different soldiers in the US Army; airborne infantry, helicopter pilot, tank commander and special forces operator.

Apart from the change of scenery, Operation Arrowhead sports an upgraded graphics engine and dozens of new units, from infantry small arms to the Apache helicopter gunship.

Other new features include a new infra-red imaging engine for night combat and UAVs.

Operation Arrowhead is scheduled for release on June 29, in the meantime, feast your senses on this brand new trailer which features a mixture of US Army and Takistani army units, then let us know your thoughts in the forums.
