Nintendo has confirmed that some of the videos it showed during its E3 2011 press conference, in which it unveiled the Wii U console, were actually from PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game.
Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime acknowledged as much in an interview with
GameTrailers, where he explained that footage from other consoles was used because the Wii U is still so far from launch.
These games on the Wii U will look just as good as their Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 counterparts, promised Fils-Aime.
'
In terms of how good it looks it's going to be driven by what the individual developers do. It's going to be 1080p, it's going to be high definition.'
'
You're going to see games that take full advantage of a system that has the latest technology and can push out some incredible graphics.'
